Pure gold leaf has a natural metallic luster. Compared with pure gold leaf, Taiwan gold leaf is more shiny and harder. It can also be held in a flat state with bamboo clips. The thickness of real gold foil paper is much thinner than that of Taiwan gold foil. Pure gold foil is as thin as a cicada's wings, so you have to be careful when you knead it with your hands.
